In this hectic and stressful modern age we live in, we girls know it’s more important than ever to do all we can to maintain a healthy and youthful skin complexion. Feeling stressed? Didn’t drink enough water? Not maintaining a balanced diet? Not getting at least 8 hours of beauty sleep? I can safely say we are all guilty of at least one of the above.
I first came across LAC Taut® Collagen Drink from a popular Taiwanese beauty program 女人我最大 (Lady First List) in 2014. Collagen found in our everyday food is too large to break down so by breaking down the collagen molecules through revolutionary hydrolysis process, they can be rapidly absorbed by the body.
The powerful age-defying ingredients not only help to hydrate the skin, it repairs and rejuvenate damaged cells and regular consumption could help to brighten the overall skin tone too. I was sold and that was when I became a convert of this powerful antioxidant drink.
Anyway, I was really thrilled to be recently invited by LAC to develop a series of mocktails infused with their Taut® collagen drink range.
With their proprietary collagen formula that contains an incredible 13,000mg dose of RDS (Rapid Delivery System) premium low molecular weight collagen, each mocktail is not only chockfull with skin boosting goodness, but so yummy refreshing as well!
I like to imagine myself sitting by a pool lounge somewhere, favorite book in hand, and sipping on these cool, soothing delights with tanned cabana boys waiting on me hand and foot (hee hee )
Ingredients:
2 cups (450 ml) pineapple juice
1/2 cup (100 ml) orange juice
1/2 cup (100 ml) chilled sparkling water / club soda
4 tsp coconut milk
6 tsp taut
To serve / garnish:
Ice
Pineapple slice
Maraschino cherry
Instruction:
In a blender, add in all the ingredients and blend for 10 – 15 secs until well combined.
Pour into serving glasses with ice and drink immediately.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup (375 ml) cranberry juice
1 cup (250 ml) pomegranate juice
1/2 cup sparkling water / club soda
4 tsp rosemary syrup*
6 tsp taut
To serve / garnish:
Ice

Instruction:
Using a jug or glass jar half filled with ice, add in all the ingredients and stir well.
Pour into serving glasses with ice and drink immediately.
*Rosemary syrup:
Add ½ cup (100 g) sugar and ½ cup (100 ml) water to a saucepan and bring to boil.
Place 2 – 3 stalks rosemary into the syrup and let it steep for 20 mins.
Cool the syrup completely and transfer to an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 months.
Ingredients:
1 canned lychee (reserve 1 cup / 250 ml syrup)
1 1/2 cup (375 ml) pink grapefruit juice
6 tsp taut
To serve / garnish:
Ice
Lychees
Instruction:
Drain lychees from can and reserve 1 cup syrup.
Drop 1 lychee in the bottom of 4 glasses and fill each glasses halfway with ice.
Combine lychee syrup and grapefruit juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake well.
Pour into each prepared glass and serve chill.
