Halloween Special: Blood Clot Brains

  • 2 cup marshmallows* (I’m using a mix of white and pink)
  • 3 cups rice krispies (you could use unsalted plain popcorn too)
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) unsalted butter
  • Strawberry preserve for decorating
  1. In a medium non-stick saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and add in marshmallows.
  2. Stir with a non-stick spatula until all the marshmallows are melted evenly. BE careful not to burn the marshmallows.
  3. Turn off heat and add in rice krispies.
  4. Stir until well combined and transfer onto a sheet of non-stick baking paper.
  5. Coat both palms with some oil and mold the rice krispies into brain shape.
  6. Add some strawberry preserve in the middle of each rice krispies.
  7. *if you are not able to find the white and pink marshmallow, simply add in a couple drops of red food coloring to the marshmallows.
